This is the question I've been getting all the time since the last email, mostly from myself.

For now the answer is that this is a weekly newsletter, but only if we have enough stuff to share. Expect it to be a lot less frequent later.

Right now my metaphorical (and skeuomorphical) desktop is running over, there's a lot of post Kiez Burn activities combined with a backlog of gossip from a newsletterless past.

To that effect: nothing will here is required reading, or will be on the exam. Please unsubscribe if you're not that into emails.

By far the most common contribution I've gotten so far is that I forgot to include any unsubscribe links. So here it is for real:

I took two photos this year, and I already used them up in the previous newsletter!

There's no yearbook this year, and most people I've talked to were way too into immediacy to have much to share.

If you took photos that are appropriate to share (i.e. everyone identifiable in it is OK with you sharing it, and you took it), please send them in! All spice levels accepted!

If looking at old photos isn't retrospective enough for you, boy, do I have a weekend for you!

Wanna add some valuable and constructive input into the future of Kiez Burn? Simultaneously reflecting and projecting from the past to the future?

The Retro & Vision weekend is 2 days of talks and workshops at Trashtelier (near Treptower Park, Berlin) in which we take a breath and think about the bigger picture, without the stress of event production looming over the Realizers.

It's currently planned for
27-28th September
and
is in need of an event lead/Coordinator/Realizer

Lets do this differently this year. Until the end of September, you can add your theme ideas to the pool (title and description). Then for October there will be a Ranked Choice voting for the KB26 theme.

No editing, low moderation (except for racist, sexist shit etc), just a raw copy-paste mess of hippie to hippie addition and subtraction.

Anm. d. Red.: Did they say anything about how this decision is made?? Nooope. This is not over!

• Digitizing Site Lead work (Deadline: end of Nov)
